Container shipping can place one or more eligible vehicles or items inside a container under a confirmed arrangement.

It may suit some multi-vehicle shipments, routes and inland destinations, depending on the confirmed booking.

Container Vessel Shipping

Container shipping normally requires inland movement, container-yard handling, loading and securing or shoring work before the container is sealed and loaded onto the vessel.

Suitability depends on vehicle dimensions, cargo condition, destination, route, container availability, carrier rules and the approved quotation.

How Costs May Be Calculated

Vehicle Securing / Shoring

Positioning, supporting and securing vehicles or equipment inside the container.

Inland Transport

Moving the vehicle to the confirmed container yard or loading point.

Ocean Freight

Sea transport under the confirmed vessel and destination arrangement.

Additional Charges

Possible terminal handling, container fees, documentation or related charges.

Final charges depend on the approved quotation, cargo dimensions, route, carrier, container arrangement and destination requirements.

What Is Container Shoring?

Shoring means positioning, supporting and securing vehicles or equipment inside a container. The approved method depends on cargo dimensions, container type, loading plan and operational requirements — there is no single universal loading method.
